What is a Boardroom?

Boardroom, a media corporation established by Kevin Durant & Rich Kleiman is dedicated to sports, entertainment & culture. The company isn’t the first to cover culture and sports, but it is determined to do it in a unique manner that makes its voice evident and loud.

The term “boardroom” is derived from the place where directors of a company meet as a group of people chosen by shareholders to oversee the company. A board of directors’ meeting is where they establish the general objectives, provide support to executive tasks, and ensure that a business adheres to ethical and legal guidelines.

It is crucial to know the difference between a boardroom and a conference space because they serve different purposes for companies. A boardroom is a formal location where high-level decision-making is conducted, while conference rooms are a casual space where collaboration occurs.

A boardroom should have a table large enough to accommodate all the members and be in a spot that is conducive to privacy. These rooms are often acoustically soundproofed to avoid distraction and ensure that the conversations stay private. Attendees are asked to dress in professional attire and turn off their microphones during the presentation so that they don’t disrupt the speakers unnecessary. This will stop attendees from checking their phones, sending emails or catching up on pending tasks, and will allow them to remain focused on the topic of discussion. This will result in an improved and productive meeting.
